F.A.Q.

What is a Hand Of Glory?

A Hand of Glory, is in British folklore at least, a pretty gruesome way of putting people to sleep. There’s a full description on wikipedia.

Further to that…

“Hand Of Glory

1707, originally a piece of mandrake root, from Fr. maindeglorie,  from a corruption of L. mandragora  ”mandrake” (see mandrake). The dead man’s hand charm is described from 1440, but not by this name.”

Why are you called Hand Of Glory?

Contrary to a few that have asked, it’s not due to us being God-botherers/god-unbotherers of any kind.

It’s entirely due to the nude scene in The Wicker Man.
